After administration of one oral dose of [14C]rimantadine to mice, 89.4% of the radioactivity was found in the urine and 3.7% was found in the feces. What is Rimantadine
Fabricating rectifying contact on ZnO remained a challenge although it has already been extensively investigated. Au contact was thermally evaporated onto the melt grown n-type ZnO having the electron concentration of ~1016cm-3. The Au contact made on the as-grown ZnO sample was found to be non-rectifying. However, after the 10 minute and the 30-minute pretreatments of hydrogen peroxide, the contacts became rectifying and had the barrier heights of 0.65 eV and 1.3 eV, respectively. The as-grown, the 10-minute etched and the 30-minute etched n-type ZnO samples were studied by positron annihilation spectroscopy PAS ; , Auger electron spectroscopy AES ; and scanning electron microscopy SEM ; . PAS results showed that a defective region was formed on the sample after the 30-minute etch, which was possibly due to the formation of the Zn-vacancy or the vacancy cluster. The SEM images also showed significant changes depending on the etching pretreatment, but the AES data revealed that the surface chemical environment did not have any change. The influence of the vacancy type defect, the surface chemical environment and the surface morphology on the Au contact rectifying property were discussed. These vaccines will not be effective against the avian H5N1 avian flu treat. To plan for the upcoming 2005 to 2006 influenza season in the US, the CDC has met with influenza vaccine manufacturers and determined that prebooked customer order for vaccine at , Aventis Pasteur and MedImmune are approximately 61 million doses, similar to last year's anticipated supply. How much, if any, influenza vaccine will be supplied by Chiron to the US market is not known but on March 2, 2005, the British Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency MHRA ; lifted its October 5, 2004, suspension of Chiron's license to manufacture influenza vaccine. According to CDC statistics, to achieve 90% coverage in adults aged 65 years and 60% coverage for all other priority groups, approximately 70 million doses of vaccine would be needed.
